  1. Show min buyout when "Cheapest auction below min price"

When posting auctions, some items don't post and show the message "Cheapest auction below min price". Under the "Your Buyout" column, it shows "---" with no real useful information. I would like it to show the current min buyout on the AH for those items, colored in red so that they can be distinguished easily from the items that are posting fine.

  2. Auctioning Repost Higher Threshold should be better

The default Repost Higher Threshold for a new Auctioning operation is "1g". This isn't a very good threshold for items that have a deposit equal to or higher than 1g. It should default to "30% VendorSell + 1g" instead (30% VendorSell is the deposit for a 24hour auction).

Frankly, something that complex as the default would probably confuse people more than help people. The point of the defaults is to be a starting point to ease people into the addon rather than the best possible settings. They are only defaults after all and are easily changed.

  3. Add dbmarket as a choice to "Auctioning>Post>When below Threshold" Drop Down

I dont want to post at the same value in both "non on AH" or "item below threshold" situations

The "Normal Price" box allows me to set my posting price when there is non on the ah.

Adding dbmarket as a choice to the "When Below Threshold" drop down menu would allow me to post at the market value when the threshold has been met.

    Many Thanks

  4. Ability to disable "Not canceling auction below minimum price" option

When I do a cancel scan, some items are popping up as "Not canceling auction below minimum price." This didn't happen in TSM 1.0. I'd like to disable this and just have the item cancelled.

  5. Bring back tiny icon at the start of each line in post/cancel scans

In shopping and in TSM1's post/cancel display there is a small icon at the start of each line, This makes it very easy to refer to the items stats and costs with the tooltip that pops up.

In TSM2 I have to search through my bags to find any item i need info on.

IE when something is going to post at the fallback price i want to know what the lowest bid is, at the moment i have to find the item in my bags and hover over it.

If the icon were to return I could simply hover…

Frankly, this suggestion makes too many invalid assertions.

    1) Whenever auction results are displayed (the only thing that I see you could be referring to in Shopping) there are icons on the far-left of each row. This has not changed since 1.0.

    2) Auctioning’s log never displayed icons.

    3) You can’t see the lowest bid in the tooltip.

If you’re missing functionality, make a new suggestion clearly describing what you’re missing. Avoid any unclear or potentially incorrect statements about the current state and simply describe what use-case you’re trying to solve with your suggestion. See the following link for more info: http://tradeskillmaster.com/wiki/index.php?title=Suggestions

  6. bring back "Ignore random enchants" option for Posting operations

The same flag we could set in TSM 1.x for posting options. Right now if you manage to get item without random enchants into posting group, while posting, it just ignores the items that actually have random enchants on them.

This is already possible in TSM 2.0 by adding the base (non-enchanted) item into a group. If you’re having trouble with this, post a detailed description of the issues you are having on the forums.

  7. Allow auctions to be posted without being forced to undercut

Allow the undercut value in the Auctions tab to be set to 0c or give an option for no undercut. This is requested to keep the whitelist from growing too long.

  8. Give figure in auctioning->post tab when selecting commands such as matPrice

When you fill out the auctioning->post tab for an item and select a command such as matPrice it doesn't tell you what the mat price is. So if you choose minimum price as matPrice and maximum as x you don't know if matPrice is higher than your maximum and therefore invalid.

  9. Manual Posting Very Clunky in v2

This suggestion is to revert the interface for manually posting items. The new TSM seems to be a step backwards from v1 for this (common) activity:

    • Tab functionality (to switch between fields) was removed, requiring extra mouse clicks

    • "Max" buttons for "items per stack" and "number of stacks" were removed, requiring users to actually clear the field and type in the number with the keyboard

    • The gold format is less intuitive and requires it to be entered in the format of "150g" or similar, instead of just putting "150" in the "g" field.

  10. Bring Back old Pricing Settings

There used to be drop downs where you can set which db to use as well as set percentages with sliders. Now you have to type a percentage and the dbmarket or something. This is very confusing and I wish we could had the drop downs back. We were able to select other pricing modules for different sections of TSM.

This is not a valid suggestion. If you can’t figure out how to do something, make a forum post and describe your issue in detail and somebody will be able to help you find a solution. Making a suggestion for “change the addon to work as I expect” is not particularly constructive.

  11. Reset Scan after Cancel Scan without closing window

My normal method is to once or twice a day run a Cancel Scan to cancel everything that has been undercut, and then run a Reset Scan to check for other seller's items that can be resold for a profit. With the way TSM 1.0 was set up, I could click the "Reset Scan" button on the left side of the window while my Cancel Scan log was still showing. With 2.0, the only way I could figure out how to run a Reset Scan was to close the AH window, reopen it and go to the Auctioning tab to…

  12. Cancel and Post in same scan

Currently TSM makes you do a separate scan for cancelling and posting. This makes sense, if the toon doesn't have stock.

However, if you do have stock then it just slows things down; it would be nice to be able to just scan the AH once (because that is the slow part) and cancel existing auctions and post new ones at the same time.

This was actually on our original wishlist for TSM2.0, but unfortunately it’s not possible. Auctioning uses many tricks to be able to post and cancel so quickly which would not play together nicely. It’ll always be faster to just run the scans in succession.

  13. Whitelist Feature Request

I would like to see several Whitelist options.

    1. Have an option to not post if a Whitelist player is the lowest. (Similar to option in 1.0)

    2. Have an option (check box) to activate/deactivate the feature option for an individual Whitelisted player. Right now the only way to deactivate the feature is to delete to player from the list. This will allow the user to maintain a list of players they may wish to Whitelist without having to add/delete/add/delete.

  14. Option to post and item with out first scanning if the auctiondb entry is < X minutes old.

It would save much time to post 300 glyphs without first scanning each
    of them individually.

TSM Desktop application data is current enough and the time savings offsets the risk of posting at the wrong price.

  15. Have a timer setting on items that dont post so Post Scan wont try and look again

Not sure if that makes sense. Say I have a full bag of items to list and I run a Post Scan. Say 30-40 items don't post because existing items are too low etc. I would like the ability to set a timer that effectively says, Ok, I wasnt able to post this item in the last X seconds, so I'm not going to scan again for that item until X time is up.

There is much more than just the price that’s taken into account when posting, so even if TSM_Auctioning knows that an item is posted too low, it could still be something that gets posted due to either you changing your settings or the new lowest poster being on your blacklist / whitelist, or many other reasons. All these things make this suggestion impractical and not worth the development time. It’d also potentially add a lot of confusion for new users.
